Coaches

USASF certified levels 1-6 in stunts, tumbling, and tosses. Katie has years of experience coaching and choregraphing allstar and school cheerleading. She is a USASF member, Safe Sport Certified and NCSI certified (National Center of Safety Initiative).

Kristin Barrett, Coach- USASF certified levels 1-6 in stunts, tumbling, and tosses. Kristin has years of experience coaching school and allstar cheerleading as well as directing Mommy and Me and Pre-K classes. She is a former McDonald’s All American and Radford University cheerleader.   She is a USASF member, Safe Sport Certified and NCSI certified (National Center of Safety Initiative).

USASF certified levels 1-6 in stunts, tumbling, and tosses. Ashley has years of experience in coaching allstar and high school cheerleading and is a former Lynchburg College cheerleader. She is a USASF member, Safe Sport Certified and NCSI certified (National Center of Safety Initiative).

A former Fame Allstars Roanoke and William Fleming High School cheerleader and current Roanoke College student and cheerleader. Maria has years of coaching experience and has worked with special needs athletes as well as Pre-k to Junior age all-star teams. She is a USASF member, Safe Sport Certified and NCSI certified (National Center of Safety Initiative).

Hi everyone! My name is Sydney Tucker and I’m so excited to be joining the Fame Allstars staff! I cheered at William Byrd and Cheer Extreme Allstars. I also danced at Floyd Ward and Studio 45. Currently, I will be coaching cheer performance teams and various classes.

Karlee is a former allstar cheerleader for Star City Spirit, Cheer Storm, Lancers, Synergy, and Fame Roanoke. She also cheered for William Byrd High School where she won a state title in 2008. Karlee has years of experience coaching both sideline and competition high school cheer and allstar cheerleading. She coaches tumbling and stunt classes and Exhibition teams  and is working toward USASF certification. She assistant coaches Prep and Elite teams. She is a USASF member, Safe Sport Certified and NCSI certified (National Center of Safety Initiative).

Kirsten has years of cheer and dance experience. She also has a background in tumbling and gymnastics. She currently coaches rec cheerleading in Salem and works for Carilion Orthopedics in addition to being a licenced cosmetologist. She is a USASF member and Safe Sport certified. 

Don has years of experience as an athlete, coach, choreographer and a national cheerleading worldwide judge. His coaching experience ranges from allstar and middle and high school to the collegiate level. His teams and routines have won many national championships, hundreds of grand champion awards and multiple best choreography awards. He is AACCA certified, USASF safety certified and USASF coaching certified levels 1-5. His brand of “high expectations” style garners direct and immediate results helping to develop every athlete he works with. No one can deny his passion for the sport of cheerleading!

Laura began studying dance at a studio in Illinois, and later went on to captain a competition dance team through NDA (National Dance Association). Afterword, she danced with Roanoke’s very own Art In Motion. She has student taught multiple classes at Art in motion for 3 seasons, she coaches Inspire Dance Camp each summer, and has coached Fame Divas dance for 2 seasons. She is a member of USASF. Laura is a teacher at Parkway preschool and is currently studying at Virginia Western.

Corbin cheered for Northside Middle and High School as both a Varsity and competition cheerleader. She has cheered for Fame All-Stars for the past 6 seasons. In addition, she is Senior Class President, a National BETA club member, and Kiwanis Key Club Historian. She coaches classes at Fame Roanoke as well as our Tiny Performance team, Pearl.
